Smoking is Stupid

As the title I write, smoking is stupid. No matter how I look at it. No matter who sip it, smoking's still stupid. Why do lot of people smoke? Kind of mass stupidity in society.

Why do smoke? What do smoking give? To look cool? Cigarette contain "tar". Tar, also known as total particulate matter, is inhaled when the smoker draws on a lighted cigarette. In its condensate form, tar is the sticky brown substance (filled with chemicals) which can stain smokers’ fingers and teeth yellow-brown. All cigarettes produce tar but the brands differ in amounts. So, do yellow-brown teeth with black lips and red eyes caused by constant smoke is cool?

To calm yourself? I don't think so. Cigarette contain nicotine, and Nicotine is contained in the moisture of the tobacco leaf: when the cigarette is lit, it evaporates, attaching itself to minute droplets in the tobacco smoke inhaled by the smoker. It is absorbed by the body very quickly, reaching the brain within 7-15 seconds.

It stimulates the central nervous system, increasing the heart beat rate and blood pressure, leading to the heart needing more oxygen. Carbon Monoxide, the main poisonous gas in car exhausts, is present in all cigarette smoke. It binds to haemoglobin much more readily than oxygen, thus causing the blood to carry less oxygen.

So, when smoking, the heart beat increase. Is it calming?

Because everyone do it? So if  society think peeing on others lawn  is ok, then it's ok?

Why do people thinks it's ok while it's not ok? To much question in my head. It's a stupidity for generation, for millenium. Why don't people think? And why don't people act? Why does the government allow stupidity? Well, government now somehow is stupidity.

Lot of people make an excuse of smoking. "Because i couldn't stop", " I do this for my country, because cigarettes is one of the top tax revenue", "Because my friend do it", lot of nonsense. Where is humanity? If i'm a human, then what are the smokers? If smokers are the so called normal human, then what am I?

2nd attempt to make 7 arts for 7 days: tuesday & wednesday

Internet connection going bad yesterday. I use cheap dial-up connection so I'm not expecting much from it. Today my $5 a month dial-up internet goes preety stable so I can update my works and make up for yesterday. Here's my tuesday:

And it was ugly as always. I use my canon s3is to capture, and i use GIMP to adjust the brightness, and I use my laziness to not cleaning the file first :D. I want to draw my girlfriend, but it ended up not as I hope. Here's my Wednesday art:

This is Canti from FLCL series which I admire the design so much. This would be better be categorize as fanart. I use GIMP as always. At the first hour of painting I still have energy to refine the detail. As the time goes by, my stamina didn't catch up with my desire, this is when I start draw the wing, the feather, the cloud, and etc that looks ugly. I just realize that painting require patience and stamina which I am lack of.

It took me about 4 hour to finish this one. God, it's a pain in my back. Originally I paint it in 3megapixel size. When it finish, I scale down to 1megapixel to upload it here. After I scale it down, not knowing that I haven't save it to jpg, I do editing again, and accidentally overwrite my master file. I try to undo it, but it's to late. My 3megapixel painting gone forever..

2nd attempt to make 7 arts for 7 days

Recently i've been busy playing assassin's creed 2 on my pc and am very absorbed to that game. It has a great gameplay, great graphic, great character, great story so I have zero reason not to play this game. It's superb!

By the way, my skill is a bit rusty, so I decide to make 7 arts for 7 days again. I post it here so that I have motivation to do this. And, here's the beginning art:

I like cute and relaxing 3d wallpaper, so I decide to try make one. I use blender to make this. It was a lame attempt with ugly rendering. Still, process is as important as final product. And that is a cute penguin, try to eat radioactive ball. In truth, they already eat some.
